Living alone, without them, was hard. She hated her heart sometimes. Hated the memories it refused to be washed free of nomatter how hard she tired. Maybe it was because she never found the pups dead. Maybe it was because her mate never came home. Maybe she was simply lonely. Bicolored eyes scanned over the land before her. She had traced her way all the way to the outlands of the city. She wasn't really looking for her pups, as much as she was someone, anyone. She sighed. Pausing as she lost hope and found a spot to lie down in. It was shaded, cool. Took the rays of the sun off of her already warn body. You'll never find them, they are dead. It's time to move on. Her mind plagued her with the thought, she had told herself that many times over. She wasn't convinced. She layed her head in her paws. Sin's ears twitched at the sound of the wind, her maws stretched in a yawn. She was tired. Worn Out. Her eye lids hung tiredly. She yawned again. Her eyes closing as she layed her head down once again.

well, I got that wicked sensationthat's crawlin' in my veins mella
The countryside was an enjoyable place to be, Mella thought to herself happily as she padded along the grass in search for something interesting to do. It was a lovely, warm day and Mella's tongue was hanging limp out of her mouth. Her throat was making slight gasping noises as she panted and looked for a good source of water. Luckily, there wasn't one far off and she padded towards the small lake that was surrounded by shrubbery and greenery. Lapped up the cool water and letting it run down her throat, Mella lifted her head curiously and looked around once again. Ribbons of light flickered across the sky like colourful clouds drifting lazily above. It signified all the different scents that her nose was picking up. Many Mella still couldn't recognise as she was still learning. Cocking her head, she viewed a larger, thicker red ribbon which seemed slightly faded. Already she could pick up that this was a dog.
Mella began to pad in the direction of the ribbon. She was bored and wanted company, as she often did. Her paws took her to an interesting looking brown and white dog that was lying in the shade. That was a good idea. Shade wouldn't be as hot as standing in the sunlight. Approaching carefully, Mella tried to work out what this female's mood was. She didn't look happy. In fact, she looked tired and exhausted. Mella wondered what had happened to this female in the past to make her look so sad. She stopped a few metres away and coughed quietly.
"Hello?"

No dreams, no nightmares. Or could the black emptyness that plagued her feble mind be called a nightmare? To her it was simply a reminder of what she had. Nothing. Since her Mate had run away, since her pups had vanished, she had nothing. This darkness never left the subcontious part of her mind. It was there, waiting for her to slip up or sleep. Was she on the verge of insanity? A mother missing her pups so much it drove her too far. Could it happen? Was it possible. ? Her ears twitched and her eyes parted slightly at the sound of the strangers voice.
Who are you?
Her growl was an instinct, burried deep into her mind. Her hackles rose. Bi colored optics traced over the "intruder". Who was larger than herself, but, did not deture the pitty from standing her ground. Black rims pulled back reviealing pale white teeth with a snarl. When you're alone for so long, you learn to be catious or die. Sin would not die like this, not yet. She would learn the fate of her mates and pups first. She needed to. Or her death will be wasted. Her life hollow as her dreams. [/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 205 | words | listening? | None | who? | Open | anything to say? | Sin Be.... Mella froze, stilling immediately as she listened to the female's instinctive growl. Her heart went out to this female. There was something bothering her - something awful. Mella wasn't sure what to do as he backed away a little to show that she meant no harm. Mella wasn't interested in a fight or angering anyone. She was just bored and slightly lonely as she padded around on this summer evening. Blinking a few times, Mella peered into the female's eyes. There was a deep loss in them, and her heart cracked slightly. How could a dog like this carry so many dark emotions in her eyes? She swallowed thickly and opened her maw to calm the female, "Mella. I'm Mella." She said calmly, hoping that this would be an enough of an answer, "I just wanted to speak. I'm sorry." Mella wondered whether she should just turn around and leave before the conversation continued, but Mella was interested with her. She was different from many dogs that she'd met before.
"Are you okay?" Mella murmured quietly. It was quite obvious that this female was not merely 'okay'. Mella could see that by her fractured scent and the deep loss that ached this dog. She felt sorry for her, wondering who she could've possibly lost. There were vague scents near the female. Puppies, perhaps? There were many of them. She could well have lost her puppies. That was possibly the worst thing that could happen. The thought of Mella herself having puppies and then having them die would crush her, and Mella bowed her head low in sadness. It was a thought she couldn't bear thinking about.
