&&Break away from everybody..
&&YOUR NAME: Curiosity killed the cat. &&YOUR AGE: 17 years. &&HOW LONG YOU'VE BEN RPING: On and off for 4-5 years.
&&Break away from everything..
&&CHARACTERS NAME: Chilali - goes by the nickname Chi. &&CHARACTERS AGE: 3 years. &&CHARACTERS BREED: Siberian Husky. &&TOWN LIVING IN: Chicago.
&&Tonight we start the fire.. &&CHARACTERS GOALS: To become the best fighter in America. To join a pack and rise in the ranks, until she's the leader of the warriors. To die fighting. To leave a mark. &&CHARACTERS DREAMS: She dreams of building a reputation that will last even when her body no longer breathes. &&CHARACTERS ACCOMPLISHMENTS: She has managed to win battles where the odds were severely against her. She has managed (so far) to walk through her life with her pride still intact. She has managed to survive. &&CHARACTERS FEARS: She is terrified of the feeling of being helpless, and therefore she is also slightly claustrophobic. In a way you can say that she is afraid of feelings, since they represent a way of losing control, and as such she doesn't really know how to handle them. Basically she's afraid of being weak, both mentally and physically.
&&Tonight I break away.. &&CHARACTERS PERSONALITY: Chi is a fighter all the way through. She's stubborn, hot-headed and unwilling to surrender. The principle “backing down” is non-existent in her dictionary, and she is of the type who will keep pushing on, even if the battle is already lost, until she is no longer able to lift a paw – and even then she’ll wait patiently for her enemy to approach her fallen body, and then bite them in the legs, if that is all she is able to reach. Some may categorize her as an adrenaline junkie, in the sense that she loves the thrill of a good fight. Actually she more than loves it; she lives for it. In her eyes canines are predators, and therefore born to fight. And fight she will. Though she is not of the type to attack unprovoked, she is always up for a good brawl, and one of her biggest dreams is to lead a pack into battle against a worthy foe. She does not doubt her own fighting capabilities, and her self-confidence is constantly balancing on the edge of becoming arrogance. Weakness is something she abhors, and she is very condescending against those she judges to be weak and therefore “unworthy” of calling themselves canines. This is also because she’s a perfectionist, and she demands as much from others as she demands from herself. If they do not live up to her expectations, she sees no reason to waste time and energy on them. Her temper flares whenever she feels potential is wasted, and she has a tendency of coming up with imaginative ways of punishing both herself and others if they fail – usually in the form of unpleasant chores or the like. But she is also fair – she gives respect where she finds respect, and meets honour with honour.
&&CHARACTERS SEX: Female.
&&CHARACTERS HISTORY: Chi was born the second of 3 Siberian Husky puppies, on a warm summer evening. Her parents were loners, since her father had been exiled from his pack, due to disputes with the beta male. Because it was his fault they were alone, he also took the job of making sure they weren't missing anything, very seriously. Luckily he was an excellent hunter and a good fighter, and through hard work and dedication, he was capable of providing his family with enough food for them to get by. The puppies thrived and grew, and Chi quickly became her father’s favourite. Already at an early age she was the boldest of her litter, and she was always the one who explored the farthest and started (and usually won) the play fights. Her father played a huge part in forming her personality, and she takes after him in many ways. Amongst others, then it’s from him she inherited her love of fighting, her sense of discipline, and her smouldering temper. As a typical teenager she idolized him in any way possible, and she essentially lived for the small smile that meant he was pleased, and died whenever he had that look in his azure eyes that indicated she had failed him.
All was well. But time passes, the moment is fleeting, and life is never fair. When Chi was 10 months old, her father was injured. This was nothing new, as he was the protector of the family and as such often had to fall back on fang and claw to “persuade” hostile dogs that the family was no easy prey. But this time, the wound became infected. None of them knew exactly how the illness had managed to attach its claws in the otherwise healthy male, but they were forced to watch the proud dog slowly whither, like a rose when winter approaches. It took time, but in the end, Chi’s father died. This proved the beginning of the end of the easy times for the family. Chi’s mother had always been weak, since an illness had wrecked her body when she was but a pup, and had left her physically broken, though her mind was clear as ever. Alone, she was unable to provide for her family, even though the pups tried to help the best they could. The following two months oversaw dark times for the little family, and one pup, Sheilah, the youngest of the three, wandered out to never return.
After two months Chi’s mother sought out a little pack she knew from the past. She knew that one of the leaders had loved her from they were pups, and hoped that he would be willing to help her. He was, and told her that she was free to join the pack as his mate, any day. But (because there’s always a but, isn’t there?), she could not bring her pups. Being quite the jealous type, he outright refused to have anything to do with the pups she had sired with another male. Her mother begged and pleaded, but she was unable to move him. Chi and her brother knew that their mother needed the pack to survive, and in the end they took the choice away from her, and left on their own. Since then they have each been on their own.
&&CHARACTERS RELATIONS: Her father shaped her as a person and gave her a lust for battle. Through his illness he unintentionally left her another gift: The fear of the things that cannot be controlled. Her mother imprinted upon Chi a sense of fairness and a gentler core behind all the thorns.
